Delegated Contracting and Panel Maintenance

Northwest Rehab Alliance provides a single source for physical therapy contracting to service the majority of Oregon and Washington. The network offers a one-stop shop for a contracted panel of outpatient therapy providers. Health plans can benefit from the cost savings associated with the time-consuming tasks of provider recruiting, contract negotiation and ongoing provider relations. NWRA establishes lasting relationships between its member clinics and the payers it serves.

NWRA will serve those with whom it contracts by ensuring a high degree of network quality. This includes complying as much as possible with National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) credentialing standards and maintaining our continuous quality improvement program. We also demonstrate quality through outcomes, and as much as possible, without sacrificing the personal touch we have for our patients and referrers, we help standardize services through treatment guidelines and documentation requirements. By providing access, cost containment, and producing positive patient outcomes we provide value to those with whom we contract.

Contracts between NWRA and its health plan clients can best be established through fair and reasonable pricing strategies combined with utilization management and outcome-oriented physical therapy services. Payers can benefit from NWRA's administrative ability to assume "at risk" contracts such as capitated and risk withhold fee-for-service agreements. In short, NWRA can develop a proposal that can meet needs for cost containment with a pricing model that will best serve the needs of our client.
